On July 15, 2024, Dr. Mohamed Elsanousi, Executive Director of the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers, visited Gakurin Seminary.
Dr. Elsanousi is a distinguished leader who has long been engaged in promoting religious freedom and interfaith cooperation in the international community. He was appointed as a commissioner of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) by President Joe Biden.
His visit provided a meaningful opportunity to reaffirm the spiritual friendship built over the years and to renew our shared commitment to peacebuilding that honors religious and cultural diversity.
