On April 8, 2025, Gakurin Seminary welcomed Dr. Vinu Aram, International Co-Moderator of Religions for Peace and President of Shanti Ashram, together with Mr. Asok Aram, former head of Deutsche Bank in the Middle East.
Our discussion with the seminarians centered on vulnerability in today’s world—amid conflict, injustice, and the climate crisis—and the vital role young people and faith leaders must play in response. Together, we explored the urgency of building solidarity across religious, generational, and institutional divides, and reaffirmed the importance of shared responsibility, spiritual resilience, and commitment to the common good.
